Salam , Hadhrat I have recently decided to adopt the Shafi'i madhab. Please tell me some book to understand this madhab and its differences with Hanafi fiqh as previously I was a Hanafi

Wa alaykum salam wa rahmatuLlahi wa barakatuHu,

If one wants to study the Shafi'i Madhhab, the best thing to do is to find a qualified teacher(s) who can impart the Madhhab by way of usul and furu'. It may be best that one does not attempt to learn the Shafi'i Madhhab through a comparative analysis between it and another School (like the Hanafi School). Studying a madhhab often requires learning it from the ground up.

Classes covering Shafi'i fiqh and Shafi'i usul can be found here: The Dar al-Hadith Institute is overseen by the same individuals running this question and answer service.

And Allah knows best.
